My husband has M.S. He is in a wheel chair full time. I did the M.S. walk and wrote a poem on M.S. before he was diagnosed with it. I sent it to Montel Williams and he picked my poem out of thousands. I received a copy right on it and read it to over 500 people before the walk. We raised over $800.00.

He, (my husband), is 46 plus he has congestive heart failure in half of his heart, but he won't let things bother him or get him down. He would give his last dollar to anybody and helps so many people out. He is our kid's idol and best friend.

My poem is called "Don't Fear". Always looking for a cure. I tried to find it, but I am still looking. So anyone with M.S. please don't let it get you down. Have faith and someday they will find a cure. I pray for you all. My e-mail is simonsenrk@live.net

What an amazing sister you have. It's so great when someone with MS doesn't let it get in the way of doing what they enjoy.
