How could I have thought
How could I've ever known
That when I first laid my eyes upon you
That my feelings would be so strong
Strong and what I believe to be true
And to us I will be
For without truth in a partnership
The future of two, will never be
For when two strangers meet
And share their feelings and fears
Truth is the most important part
If it is the last them through the years
For days will come and go
But with each other it must always be
The desire to understand and care
And always stand and never leave
You told me of your illness
I was scared for you and me
But with knowledge and understanding
I now know that there is more for us to be
I am aware of what the future may hold
I understand what the outcome may be
But I will stand by your side and never let you fall
Not even MS will be deter me from what may be my destiny
For we all have imperfections
We all have misery to bear
But when we become two
The power is more than even MS can bear
