Hello--My 36 years with MS (and no injectables) has given me some ideas which may or may not help another. When I was around 45, I learned about PremPro, which resulted in NO periods. It's gotten a bad rap in recent years, but there must be something else these days that accomplishes the same end.
Besides that, sometimes it boils down to the worse of two evils. I guess many people have returned to it for various reasons, although I have never heard that MS is one. LOL
I had always noticed a hormonal component to my MS--it seemed like I was my worst on the androgen side of the equation. In any case, after a trial on hormone pills, I was given PremPro by my GYN.
I noticed a VERY positive effect--especially, it seemed, on the pain aspect. Everything just seemed much more EVEN during the month, and what a blessing that was! It might be worthwhile for you fellow MS Ladies to discuss this with your neuros or GYN's.
Good luck! If not this method there are no doubt others now which mean no or fewer periods which is the objective!
Cheers!
Jane
