No one envisions waking up to the nightmare of not being able to see
Everything was fine yesterday so there's no way this could be
Then feelings of relief when the doctor said, there's nothing wrong with your eyes
But in the very next breath being told something that would take you by surprise
Your brain is loaded with lesions, there's some on your spine too
You have Multiple Sclerosis my dear and there's not much we can do
We're sorry to tell you there is no cure and you'll only get worse each day
We don't know how and when you got it, but we know it won't go away
So many tears have fallen since and will no doubt continue to fall
But as long as there's still breath in me I will give this fight my all

Dear Friends,
"Life in Spite of MS is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. We're also part of the Ebay Partner Network, another affiliate program."
We'd also like you to know it doesn't cost one cent more when you click through the links here on our blog. Not one single penny. And we will make a little extra cash when you do click through. We'll be ever so appreciative. You also have our word that we'll only link to things that we would use ourselves, (or wish we could have or use).
Sincerely,
Cir & Akrista
