Hi Everyone!
With hopes and prayers I am going to attempt the Challenge Walk, which is a 50 mile, 3-day walk for MS in September of this year (2013). I was diagnosed with MS in December of 2012, but, like most everyone else, had symptoms for YEARS before finally getting diagnosed.
About 5 years ago I was training for a 1/2 marathon and MS sat me on my butt! Honestly, I'm not sure if I am going to be able to do the whole walk, but I'm going to give it my best shot, darn it!! I have created a team called "Eileen Towards A Cure" but since you have to raise $2500.00 to walk, it looks like I'm going to be a team of one.
But that's ok! My family and friends are going to a bike ride in Las Vegas in November, so I'm not holding the Challenge Walk against them. :)
So, if any of you want to walk with me (or donate), I'd be happy to have a walking buddy! You can find me on Facebook or through the MS Society.
My name is Eileen Sonnefeld (Ares-Sonnefeld on FB) and my link to the MS society is here: http://main.nationalmssociety.org/site/TR?px=11726281&pg=personal&fr_id=21029&et=e269RGPzJcL0swhqF17o4A
I can't do the 1/2 marathon that I had always wanted to do, but this will have to be my trade-off.
Wish me luck!!
Stay strong everyone.
Eileen

Dear Friends,

We'd also like you to know it doesn't cost one cent more when you click through the links here on our blog. Not one single penny. And we will make a little extra cash when you do click through. We'll be ever so appreciative. You also have our word that we'll only link to things that we would use ourselves, (or wish we could have or use).
Sincerely,
Cir & Akrista
