MS-MY STORY
Was diagnosed with MS in April 2008, that was my 43rd Birthday gift. Had been having a lot of symptoms, now that I look back for a few years. But back then I chalked it up to being a full-time mom, and working. Just thought it was exhaustion and being over-worked, not enough me time.
It took over a year to get my diagnosis, and I am no longer allowed to work and have lost my driver's license as well. I consider myself a pretty independent person, so for me to lose employment and my license takes away a lot.
I try to keep myself active in fundraisers for MS and advocating for a cure.
