My friend just got diagnosed
She's waited nigh 20 years
Her job depends on it
In that crazy system of hers
She's had an awful hassle
GP's just don't understand
Her MRI was positive
Each day too much in hand
Balance, tremors, eye flashes
Fatigue, speech idiosyncrasies
Yet MS criteria is first not met
For the NHS to please
Yes, Great Britain is not the USA
Seems it's even harder there
Can't buy a diagnosis even
So inevitably more heartache to bear
MS is a cruel deceiver
It strikes and hides away
It lies in wait awhile
Then invades without delay
But
Be gentle, Oh ye MonSter
Be quiet and walk away
Together we proudly remain
Partners against your fray.

Dear Friends,
"Life in Spite of MS is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. We're also part of the Ebay Partner Network, another affiliate program."
We'd also like you to know it doesn't cost one cent more when you click through the links here on our blog. Not one single penny. And we will make a little extra cash when you do click through. We'll be ever so appreciative. You also have our word that we'll only link to things that we would use ourselves, (or wish we could have or use).
Sincerely,
Cir & Akrista
